Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Find Rent, a Ghana-focused apartment discovery website based in Accra, Ghana. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Contact us at support@rentghana.com with questions.
What Find Rent does
Find Rent lets visitors search public apartment listings and lets landlords create accounts, publish listings, and manage their own listings. Renters do not need an account to search. The site does not collect rent, deposits, or other payments, prepare leases, or act as a party to a rental agreement.
Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account and keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for activity through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it. You may close your account by contacting support@rentghana.com.
Landlord listings
If you publish a listing, you agree that:
- You are the landlord or have permission to advertise the apartment.
- The location, apartment type, monthly price, availability, and contact details you provide are accurate and kept up to date.
- You have the rights and permissions needed to upload each video and photo, and the media does not violate another person's privacy or rights.
- You will not use a listing to mislead, defraud, harass, discriminate unlawfully, or advertise something you cannot offer.
Listing details and uploaded media are public. By uploading media, you give Find Rent permission to store, host, and display it as needed to provide the listing service. You keep ownership of your content. You can edit or remove your listings through the landlord dashboard.
Information for renters
Listings and contact details are supplied by landlords. Find Rent does not independently verify ownership, availability, price, property condition, or a landlord's identity, and does not guarantee that a listing is current or accurate. Contact the landlord directly and independently check the property, the person's authority to rent it, and the proposed rental terms before making a decision or payment.
Any viewing, negotiation, lease, deposit, rent payment, or other arrangement is between the renter and landlord. Find Rent is not responsible for those arrangements and does not guarantee either party's conduct.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the website, try to access another person's account or data, upload malicious files, scrape or reuse listings in a way that violates the law or others' rights, or use the service for unlawful or deceptive activity. Do not submit sensitive personal information in a public listing unless it is genuinely needed and you are comfortable making it public.
Content and service availability
We may remove or restrict listings or accounts that violate these terms, create a safety or legal concern, or harm the service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the service available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access.
Responsibility and liability
To the extent allowed by applicable law, Find Rent is not liable for losses arising from inaccurate listings, dealings between renters and landlords, or temporary interruption of the website. Nothing in these terms removes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded. You remain responsible for your content and your use of the service.
Changes, law, and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after a new version is posted means you accept the updated terms, to the extent permitted by law. Ghanaian law applies, subject to any mandatory consumer or other protections that apply to you. For questions, email support@rentghana.com.
