How we use information
We use information to create and secure landlord accounts, show and manage apartment listings, match renter searches, display landlord-provided contact details, operate the website, respond to support requests, and meet applicable legal requirements.
Information visible to the public
Apartment region, area, type, monthly price, contact details, overview video, and photos are shown on public listing pages. Anyone who can access a listing may copy or share that information. Landlords should only submit contact details and media they are comfortable making public and must have permission to share them.
Cookies and external services
The site uses essential Django cookies to maintain sign-in sessions and protect forms. The project does not include an analytics or advertising cookie service.
To operate the site, your browser may connect to Google Fonts for typography and Unsplash for decorative images used on the home and dashboard pages. Google sign-in may be available depending on the site's configuration. In production, uploaded listing media is stored with Cloudinary. The application database is provided through the deployment configuration. These providers may process technical or account information under their own privacy terms, and their infrastructure may be outside Ghana.
When information is shared
Listing information is shared publicly as described above. We also use service providers that host the site, database, and uploaded media, and may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service. We do not sell account information.
Retention and your choices
Account information is kept while an account is active. A landlord can edit or remove their listings from the dashboard. We keep information for as long as it is needed to operate the service, handle support and security issues, maintain necessary records, or meet legal obligations. You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to a particular use, or request account closure by emailing support@rentghana.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it.
Security
We use the access controls and security features provided by the application and its hosting services. No online service can promise that information will be completely secure.
Children
Find Rent is for people able to make rental enquiries and manage property listings. It is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided account information, contact us so we can review it.

We may update this policy when the service or its information handling changes. The date at the top shows when this page was last updated. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@rentghana.com. You may also contact Ghana's Data Protection Commission or learn about your data rights.
